Features of growing a house
Unpretentious Asian and Oriental hybrids are suitable for indoor cultivation. Their flowers have a diverse color, in which there are specks, spots and stripes. A healthy onion has a dense and smooth appearance. Before planting, it is recommended to disinfect planting material. For this, the bulb is soaked in a weak solution of manganese for 20-30 minutes.
Landing capacity should not be too large. For one flower, a pot of 1.5-2 liters is enough. The soil should be light and nutritious with the addition of river sand. Lilies do not tolerate stagnation of water, therefore, the presence of holes and drainage (expanded clay, broken red brick, pieces of polystyrene, etc.) is mandatory. The depth of the bulb in the moist soil is approximately half its height. After that, the pot is placed in a cool room. When a sprout appears, the lily is transferred to a bright place. An ideal place would be south or southwest windows.
In summer you can take to the balcony.
Watering should be regular and moderate, do not fill the plant. Also, the plant can be sprayed. Loosening the soil is necessary. Lilies love top dressing. For this, special fertilizers for lilies or complexes for flowering plants are suitable. After the lily fades completely, the watering is gradually reduced (about once a week) and the pot is transferred to a shaded place. When the aboveground part dies, the bulb is dug up and placed in a bag with wet sawdust or moss. You can store in the bottom of the refrigerator or basement.
The main thing is that the storage temperature is within +4 - +6 degrees.
With proper care, lilies are rarely affected by diseases and pests. And these fragrant flowers will decorate the house with their bright flowering for a long time.
